It seems that was one key route of outmigration, but these migrants intersected with other migrants from what is now PNG and possibly the Australian continent (I’m not sure about the latter) leading to new linguistic and cultural formations in parts of the Pacific perhaps too hastily labelled “Melanesia.”

Prior to Africans, Arabians, and Europeans coming in contact with Madagascar, most of the poeple there could be traced back to Taiwan, with some that could he traced back to mainland Southeast Asia.
Prior to Europeans’ arrival, everyone from Rapa Nui could trace their maternal side back to Taiwan, but the Austronesian and Mainland Southeast Asian DNA on the paternal side were mainly replaced by Papuan male lineages.
so im watching this new series on netflix about the theory that life in north america was older than thought, now the thinking is around 30,000 years ago !!
so it could be that instead of asians coming over to north america, it could be the other way around. so basically EVERYONE IS AMERICAN .
