Does anyone know of any clinics in or near Taipei that offer egg freezing services? Anyone have any experience with the procedure?

Reviving this topic on behalf of a friend who asked about Egg Freezing in Taiwan. I had heard that Taiwan is pretty advanced in this area in Asia. Can anyone share experience or PM me any recommendations?

It is true that 35 yo is a cutoff point?

A friend mentioned that egg freezing is an initial step in the IVF process. Has anyone had any good experiences with a particular IVF clinic that they can share or recommend to me?

Any leads on how I might learn more would be awesome.

Bumping this topic because I was talking to my friend again recently and asked her if she was still researching this for herself.

Can anyone recommend any blogs or other resources that discuss egg freezing or fertility clinics in Taiwan today?

Have you tried Taipei Medical University Hospital? I know they have several Fertility Specialists there and the facilities are also very new and nice.

I had my 2nd child with Dr. Ou and had an excellent experience with him. He isn’t their fertility expert though but he came highly recommended and was on the top 100 doctors list for Gynecologists in Taipei. He was very gentle, caring and has good English. He’s also very supportive of natural births and VBACs which is why I went to him. I was hoping for a VBAC but he was concerned about safety (vaginal rupture) after a vaginal ultrasound that showed my uterus becoming too thin but he still made the decision up to us.

This is the doctor that comes highly recommended. He has a private clinic with the address below. I saw many foreign couples at this clinic. He is the director of the infertility organization of doctors here in Taipei. Aparently many ppl even fly from other countries to get treatments done with him! I was very impressed by how well trained his nurses were as well.

Another doctor who is highly recommended by some mothers I know who had IVF treatment is Monty Li at Chung Shan Hospital.
