Hello every one,
Ancient Mexican culinary traditions passed on for generations are now a reality in Taipei. For the first time ever, we bring centuries old recipes made daily by Mexican Chefs right in the heart of Tianmu, Taipei City…

No. 42, Sec. 7, Zhongshan N. Rd., Tianmu, Taipei[/quote]
Um, Zhongshan North Road Section 7 is NOT right in the heart of Taipei City. In fact, you couldn’t get much farther from the “heart” and still be in city limits.
But hey, if the food is good, I’m sure people will make the trip! Best of luck in this endeavour! :bravo:
Hi Maoman, you are right, I meant to say the heart of Tian Mu, not Taipei. Thanks for clarifying it. Soon, I will publish a poster with accurate details and a map. Welcome to try us!

It beats going all the way to Dansui.
So what’s on the menu? Can you give us an idea of the range? Is it the typical antojitos (tacos, burritos etc.) or is it a broader sampling of Mexican cuisine?
Glad to see you found a source for masa – I don’t think anyone else is doing homemade corn tortillas in town at the moment. I tried it but mine just fall apart, .
Since when is Chungli in Tianmu? Your opinion has been noted and if there wasn’t a glitch preventing me from modding, your post would now be in temp.
FYI. This is a restaurant forum. People with restaurants are ENCOURAGED to post here. People with restaurants in more than one location are ENCOURAGED to post here. It is not considered to be spam.
But Mexico Sabroso is in Zhongli, and has a different name. Furthermore, announcing the opening of new bars and restaurants here is a good thing, as it brings them to our attention and allows us to compare notes on them, and give feedback to the owners as well.
Good Mexican food is very scarce in Taiwan, and I for one welcome the information, and look forward to trying it.
