Just got an emergency alert… This is just a test, right? Even it says “drill” somehow I’m still not sure. Is this the usual way tests are marked in Taiwan emergency alerts?

They really should try and make it clear that it’s a drill… Otherwise you get a boy who cried wolf situation in real emergencies.
This isn’t the first time the English in one of those alerts was beyond merely inadequate. They really should know better by now.
That was my favorite. Serious “well shit I regret coming here” moment, immediately followed up by “oh, cool, we’re not going to die”
