Hi there! Glad to see I’ll have some companions while I wait in fear for my application to go through!
I applied last week (16/03/2021) under the Science & Technology qualification. Got a fright this morning realising that according to some blog posts from last year I should have applied under the Economics field… and then was relieved when I found this thread. Seems like I did the right thing in the end.
My profile:
- 8 yrs of experience as a Software/AI Engineer
- Have a few 5+ degrees but no PhD
- I barely qualify for the salary requirement, depending on how much taxes they take into account before counting the gross income
- Have two patents under my name, which I provided along with my CV (I really thought that’d be enough, what a noob)
- I’m French
