So, I was watching Chelsea vs Liverpool last night. The commentary was in Chinese. By accident, I hit the input button on the remote control. This toggles through the AV1, AV2… RGB etc… When I toggled back to the match, HEY PRESTO commentary in English!!! What’s going on?
I’ve forgotten the name for that. It’s neat, but the cable companies don’t always provide those extra audio channels.
You need a fancy TV with the capacity to switch between the auxiliary audio channels. AFAIK, only ESPN and Star sports broadcast the secondary channels alongside the main audio channel. Which is pretty handy for much of the sports coming from overseas that simply gets an overdubbed commentary locally.
good for soccer (or other varieties of football) golf, tennis, F1 and MotoGP, etc
Well, It certainly made my day. I can understand a fair bit of Chinese, but having English commentary is fantastic.
