I think what “sticks of fury” wrote is very important, too. A lot of people I know who work from home don’t care about ergonomics (“I can use this old table and that kitchen chair, no problem, really”).

Try to get her to use an LCD monitor instead of a CRT monitor and get her all the ergonomic chairs, desks, wristpad etc as possible. Also take her out and do something active. It should balance out more.

It’s time to get rid of my old table and kitchen chairs. I’ll be redesigning my whole computer area after reading those sites. I must spend an average of 3 (probably a lot more ) hours a day in front of this thing. Can any ergomasters point me to a store in Taiwan (Taibei) that specializes in this sort of thing? Or is it something I can do myself with a little research and shopping around?

It’s tips like these that makes me like this place so much.

My first ergonomic purchase will be a sweeping brush and mop that I can use without having to be bent double. How do people get away with selling this crap?
