I know how hard it is to find things in Taiwan. Even though my wife is Taiwanese, she doesn’t often understand what I’m looking for because people here are just not into DIY. Not like in the US where you just run to Home Depot. We recently decided to remodel our house and fortunately we found an excellent carpenter. He is reasonable, reliable and hard working and has about every tool imaginable and can build most anything. Above all, he is a perfectionist. I can provide his phone number if you need a carpenter. Forgot to mention that I live in Xizhi, New Taipei City. I believe that the Carpenter will work anywhere in the greater Taipei area. Sorry for the Omission.

I thought you were looking for a carpenter. Its hard to even find quality construction wood in Taiwan though.
Unfortunately I don’t do general carpentry (as in installing shelves, making cabinets, etc.) but I do fine carpentry like making signs, letters, wooden trinkets, etc.
I don’t have any contractor tools to do general carpentry, just lots of hand plane and hand chisels and rasps for making guitars.
