Exhibition of Koxinga in National Museum of History

The present exhibition presents a wide range of historical artifacts and materials relating to Jheng Cheng-gong from museums and private collections in Japan, China, Taiwan, and Kinmen (an island off the coast of China belonging to Taiwan). The exhibition aims to show, in broad perspective, the interaction between Taiwan and the rest of the world during the 17th to 19th centuries, making effective use of visual materials to present both the major historical developments and the social environment.
