Expected pay for project manager?

Next Wednesday I have an interview for a project manager position at a local pneumatics company. It is a lot different to what I’m doing now but I do have a few years of professional experience in an unrelated industry. They said they were impressed by my resume. When I go for the interview they will inevitably ask how much I am hoping for per month. Obviously I want to get as much as possible but don’t want to give too high a number. What is the going rate for project managers in Taipei?

Would I scare them off by asking for 100k?

International company and 100k? Possible
Local company and 100k? Probably too high

US$ a year or NT$ a month?
Aim high.

I would guess Taiwanese Dollars cause we are in Taiwan.

If that’s the case go higher.

Depends on the compensation structure, if the bonuses are high, which is very common in Taiwan, then 100k is already too much.

Of course you are correct.
But bonus can be guaranteed or not.

@TaipeiWolf take your current salary and add at least 20%.
