Why does the food in Family Mart more expensive than 711?
Personally, I find Family Mart food less delicious and of average quality. Whereas 711 food looks good quality and tastes good too.
Are there any possibilities than 711 food is processed like popular fast food chains to look and taste more good?
They’re all more or less the same.
But remember convenience store mainly sells convenience, not quality.
I don’t really get the question? Most convenience store food isn’t of great quality, and of course it’s processed to “look and taste more good”.
I meant in comparison to 711 family Mart food looks average in quality and tastes average. So is it because they serve less processed food compared to 711?
I don’t really agree with the basic premise tbh. I’m not a huge fan of convenience store food, but for the few things I occasionally buy I find the stuff from Family Mart comparable.
It’s all “processed” though, which it kind of has to be if you’re keeping it edible and ready-to-eat for several (?) days before zapping it and the tasty plastic it’s wrapped in in a microwave.
Years ago the salad at 7eleven was superior to the familymart one. I used to seek them out.
No idea about now.
Probably because people are willing to pay for it.
I does.
What total nonsense. Now do OKMart and Hilife.
Yes we need a more scientific comparison of all the convenience store chains. @taiwan11 please systematically investigate all pricing, sizing, tasting of 7-11, Family Mart, OK, and Hi-life. Following this investigation, please report back and let us know what you find. Thanks!

Smells like fish, tastes like chicken.
Family Mart actually has some pretty good salads these days. They have a green salad for 65 with some purple onions which you can get with a caesar sauce. It’s a bigger box with a decent amount of veggies. I sometimes get it and mix in 2 tea eggs for a nice, semi-healthy light meal.
