Fapiao app not letting ARC register

hey all

I’ve recently been using the government fapiao app to scan my lotto tickets but it seems I can’t actually enter my ARC details to collect the winnings. it just comes up with an error.

Anyone had any similar issues? not sure where I can go to get assistance.

You can only use the app to scan fapiaos. It doesn’t work for lottery tickets.

  2. Where are you entering your ARC details? Does it actually ask for ARC number, or something else?

A couple of days ago I had to update my ARC number (old format → new format) in the form used for entering the bank account information and I was receiving some cloudflare errors.
I re-tried a couple of times and it worked eventually.

I am sorry if this is a “vague” solution.

The only thing that I did was to turn off the auto translation of the pages at some point but I cannot confirm that this is what fixed the problem (it should not from my understanding but …).

Edit: I see you talk about the app. I always used the web site for registering and editing my info.

IIRC, the app directs you to the website for updating parts of the info.

(I’m not checking, because last time I tried checking something it messed everything up and it took me a while to fumble my way through setting everything up again.)
