Fast food managers are likely making more than you…

Came across this. In N Out managers are making $200,000USD a year.

Would you consider a career change from your Taiwan English teaching and return home?

You should try to immigrate and get yourself a nice raise.

I like my job. As a school guidance officer in australia, you get the school holidays, weekends, go home at 3pm on the dot after doing barely a thing the whole school day… and the salary is 170,000 aud including cash locality allowances (120,000usd with current exchange rates) plus the free rent and heavily subsidised electricity are nice little bonuses.

Oh, ok. As long as you’re ok with fast food managers making 2/3 more than you.

They work at Inn and Out 15 years on average to become a manager

Getting to manager takes a lot of work, how about just being a waiter? I hear they can make 200k+ USD a year after tips

I’ll take my ~$120k USD equivalent, free rent, subsidised electricity, roughly 13 weeks of school holidays, weekends off and walking out the door at 3pm with no baggage from work.

Unfortunately I’m not a young hot female

You need to have tits to get tips.

Work at this fast food place, you can move up faster

According to data from recent Popeyes Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDD), the **average Popeyes owner earns an estimated $223,000 to $252,000 per year in take-home profit per location

Being an owner where you have to invest 7 figures vs a manager is a bit different.

But this whole thread is stupid (hence the facetious replies). Take one unusually high paying fast food chain, who provides an unusually high level of profit sharing, has great internal training but generally hires from internal candidates (ie years of investment and limited opportunities to become a manager) and make a stupid general click bait thread titled “fast food managers…”

Very much so!

As a point of reference, I knew a Burger King store manager back in the 1990s whose base salary was USD$80k/yr but profit-sharing brought it to $120k most years.

The downside was the manager is the “safety net”, who fills in when staff are sick, runs to the grocery store when the veggie truck no-shows, etc. They typically work 10-12hrs a day, 6-7 days a week. :grimacing:

(The franchise owner had a dozen locations and was never involved, he was already independently wealthy, they were strictly an investment vehicle for him.)

Overseas men gave more tips to women with bigger breasts, so your outlook is important in getting a higher income in North America too.

I think for a man, being tall gets more money it seems.
