Fastest, most reliable mobile network with the greatest coverage?

Which mobile network is the best in terms of speed, reliability and coverage?

Taiwan mobile 5G unlimited plan ($1599 per month) works pretty well for me

However I haven’t seen much innovation the last 3 years, and now Taiwan lags behind other counties in mobile and home internet speeds.

Big three are almost identical.

I’ve been using Taiwan Mobile for over 10 years. Can’t imagine how I’d get better service.

I can’t complain about TW mobile coverage and speeds, very reliable network. Chunghwa is more expensive and has some throttling issues even in downtown areas.

This.

Chunghwa Telecom still gives me better reception in the mountains and other remote regions, so I don’t even bother doing price comparisons. Having said that, there are still plenty of even more remote places where there is simply no reception to be had, and I’m quite happy about that.

I have little to no reception for TW Mobile in my home, but it appears Chunghwa telecom has perfect reception here. I must go outside to get any reception.

I need a signal booster but I’ve read that you must ask TW Mobile to do this, doing it yourself is against the law here.

I had no reception on Taiwan Mobile in my old apartment, but Chunghwa worked. And I didn’t even live in a remote area. Just too far in from the street where the cell towers are.

I’ve since moved to another apartment facing the street, and now the reception is fine.

What if moving is not an option? Switch provider?

Yes. Or get a booster. Or just turn on your WiFi calling, so all phone calls will be made via WiFi.

You still won’t be able to receive texts though.

I tried wifi calling. It does not work, nor does it improve your chances of getting calls.

TW mobile also charges another 30nt a month if you want it too.

Because you didn’t sign up for it? Or do you mean it just doesn’t work on your phone?

It worked fine for me.

I know, but that’s $1 USD so I didn’t feel the need to mention it.

In my house in dahu park is the contrary: perfect 5g reception for tw mobile, barely works for text and calls with chunghwa.

The carriers used to allow someone to test their SIM card free for a few days before signing up. But I’m not sure if that is limited to locals or anyone.

Mine Changhua works everywhere, NT$500 a month unlimited data…

It all depends on the places
