I need to have my US College Diploma Authenticated by the end of this month. The document authentication page is a little confusing.
Can I have my Diploma Verified as Real by AIT and then send it to the relevant offices in Taiwan?
Or do I have to send the Original Diploma and additional copies to the ROC office in my home country and regions where I went to school which would be the New York Office?
So I have my College Diploma and a translation ready to go…
Do I have to get the document and copies notarized by AIT first?
If my documents need to go abroad, how can I pay, and in what currency?
There is one price for the initial copy and a lower price for additional copies.
The main reason I’m getting this done is to apply for a position. Should I get additional copies in case I apply for another position that requires a certified diploma? Is there a window where the certified copies must be used before they expire?

if this is for a work permit and your college is on the list of accredited schools, I think you don’t need to get it authenticated.
For employment, HR will take any copy of the degree.
For school or teaching in uni, you need proper authentication
