The screenshot you posted also uses a link tag. All instructions I’ve seen say to use a link tag.
Besides, after entering the code, it now works for iPads and Macs. I’m just wondering why it still doesn’t work for iPhones. It should have worked for all Apple devices.

Still no icon in Safari Start Page, but now the icon for adding to the Home Screen no longer exists either (this part was fine yesterday).

It’s possible that her version of Safari is an older one that uses the favicon image for the Start Page.
How does the icon look? Pretty good quality?
If it works well on her phone, then I’ll just assume it’s an issue with caching on my phone. I might just have to wait a few days and see what happens.
