Hi!
Has anyone used the ferry to go, togething with your scooter, to Green Island? What are the schedules like, and how long does it take, and is there anything to choose between the various ferry companies?
Thanks

What a waste… of effort and $. Just rent a scooter when you get there.
As for ferries they run weird times. Do a search for Green Island - there was a thread a while back with a lot of details
I don’t recall seeing anyone get their scooter onto the ferry, but I’ve only been 4 times. There are loads of scooters for rent just outside the harbour area, where you get off.
Green Island travel packages usually come with the scooter thrown in - they hand you the keys when you get off, and you just park the scooter at the harbour when you leave.
I found the numbers for some ferry companies in the Green Island thread in this forum. For some of them, the mix of my broken Mandarin, and their broken English yielded the following info:
1 person return, 800NT, scooter return, extra 400NT. Anyway, I’m doing a two week scooter tour of Taiwan, and I’m loathe to leave my scooter parked unattended in TaiDong for a couple of days.
OK, thanks to those who replied
