Awkward as they also referred to Taiwan as part of China while upgrading Taiwan’s ratings.

Even AA is too low. Taiwan outperforms every other country in that rank.

It’s very rare to jump more than 1 ratings up. Even more rare to see AA+ or AAA sovereign ratings now. I can see the ratings improve once more if Taiwan’s outlook stays positive.
It’s a credit rating, not growth in 2020. It’s more about how risky it is to lend you money than how much $ you saved last year.
