Food hints for Toads Out On The Perimeter

Hey, folks,
Anyone know what toads like to eat? I mean delicacies, like maybe peanut butter. I have this huge green toad outside my garden. His Name is Morris, in honor of the obvious. He holds the perimeter against cockraoches, & all. I feel like I should reward him. Short of female company, what can I do for me stalwart sentry?

Fuggin A! :grandpa:

There It is…

If you feed him he won’t be munching crunchies.
A good lick every now and then should be sufficient.

The toads back in Aus always ate the cats’ dry food. Perhaps you could hand feed it a couple every night. (not too many, or he’ll get lazy heh)

How about some pics of Morris?

I’ve got one of those big guys living in my yard as well. He seems to like dry dog kibble. He’s been a resident here long enough that my dogs visit with him (her?) whenever he chooses to come out from the tangled undergrowth, which is my garden  . From time to time he can be found sitting in one of the dog food dishes. How long do frogs live, anyway? Froggie has been here now for over a year and is a part of the family, I guess.

Get some mealworms from one of those exotic pet shops if you really want him to become your adoring sex-slave.
