It seems to me throughout the years the forum has been pretty dynamic in where people lean.
There’s been all sorts of people on all spectrums that have come and go. And I’ve seen active posters change their pov on issues including myself. And I think interacting with people on issues has opened up my own pov and change my own opinions.

Many if not most of Forumosans, was the claim
So progressive democrat. Noted.
This thread essentially is the same as
https://8values.github.io
Just took this test, it’s kinda long but it gives accurate results. I’m curious to see where my fellow forumosa posters stand politically.

and
I don’t know how much more centrist I could be!

But I didn’t like the questionnaire itself. If felt too old and unreliable. It’s hard to represent one’s standing in a two axis plot.
I much prefer the 8values:
https://8values.github.io/
We have a thread on that already:
Perhaps is better to resurrect it rather than insist on this outdated one?
as well as
Sending out an invite to @anon38216271 and @Poagao .
I started this in the open forum, I expect to be moderated in just the same way anyone else would be and I’ll make it clear, I am not going to step in as a mod in this thread in any shape or form.
The starting point is I think, when I stated a long held traditional liberal belief that people should not be discriminated on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation or religion. It’s also law in most places.
I got some push back at the idea pe…
All of them had people ending up posting their 8values results.

Since no one started posting their results for this election cycle, I guess I’ll start.
2023 result.
My result from 2018. That was done in October as well.
2020 result
So Apparently I went from Social Libertarianism > Libertarian Socialism > Social Democracy
While listening to some TED talks, I found this test more interesting.
http://www.yourmorals.org/explore.php
You have to register or sign in with facebook to take the test. It was a USC, UCI, University of Virginia joint study. The one I took is the second test, Moral Foundations Questionnaire.

In the TED talk, it was pointed out that if you only find Harm(the lack of), and Fairness to be the most important morals, you are probably a liberal.
If you find all 5 of equal importance,…
There’s also the your morals test.
