I just signed with Chunghwa Telecom a 3-year service subscription, which included a new phone.
I’m an iPhone user and do not need a new phone, so I’m selling this Xiaomi brand new smartphone for 25% off its street price.

Why didn’t just go with a sim only plan if you didn’t need the phone?

Obviously I got the phone for free. It’s the reward for committing to a long-term contract.

I have always found the phone is buried in the cost of the contract, my experience in Taiwan is the sim only for the same time normally works out cheaper.

This is what I always buy my phone outright then get a sim only.

I am aware, but as I was about to sign the sim plan, I was offered this option and it is exactly the same price

I have add that offer also, but ended up with a cheaper sim plan in the end.
