Ford to discontinue Focus and Fiesta

If it’s like the US these are final assembly plants. They import all the parts and assemble the car locally just to qualify for domestic production. I wouldn’t expect a Taiwanese made Ford to be any different than one made in Poland, same parts just local workers.

Our Focus has been remarkably problem free so I could be wrong. :laughing:

I had a Mazda3 in the US in the late 00’s, and my friend had a higher end Ford Focus. They were very similar when Mazda and Ford were working together. Peppy little cars with stick shifts and quick acceleration that almost handled like sports cars, at least compared to their competitors in price and class at the time.
