Foreign mother child custody to taiwanese father

Good day everyone_

Has anyone here been rewarded the joint custody as a primary custody of the child as a foreign mother?! :weary: I’m so stressed that my ex husband will get the primary custody of our daughter. Ever since my ex husband abandoned us I’m with my daughter and now after many months he came back and wants to get the child from me. And we’re currently in mediation in the court. He said he also wants to have the primary custody of the child. But i can’t give the child to him. I’m the mother i should be the one who has the primary custody of the child. Please help me any opinion or suggestions to me that can help my emotions thank you

Yes i have a lawyer and a translator because my Chinese is not fluent so i seek a translator too

Yes but she remained in Taiwan I don’t know if that is a factor

Think the courts tend to award custody to the parent staying in Taiwan but that’s not always the case

You def need a good lawyer
