Been sued by civil court. Can you leave and enter Taiwan? APRC holder
Please help.
Yes.
What are you being sued for?
Credit card
Likely depends if immigration has been instructed to put an exit ban in place.
Can check online or ring up NIA.

Thank you. What is the UI nr?
It should be on your APRC at the top left. It’s also known as the ARC/APRC number.
Thank you.
Hi, how about entering Taiwan as tourist? How would I know If I am in the immigration watchlist? Please help thank you
Can you provide some info?
Worked in Taiwan as OFW and went home with an outstanding balance to a phone internet plan. Now wants to come back to Taiwan as tourist, does this kind of unsettled obligation conflicts with immigration upon coming back to the country? Like you are already on the immigration lookout orders? Thanks
Probably fine to enter taiwan. Dollar amount is not big enough to warrant an entry/exit ban.
Have you looked into settling the outstanding bill? That might help resolve your problem before you get stuck at airport immigration.
So let me get this straight. You’re afraid of getting banned from entering Taiwan because of an unpaid phone bill?

Yes, worst is that I am afraid that I will be arrested. Please enlighten me. I can go back to Taiwan and reactivate it so I can pay it in installment not in full
You will not be arrested. The salary of the cops to arrest you is more than the outstanding phone bill…
Hopefully there is a watch list.
I do not condone or excuse thievery.
There’s definitely a bit of hypocrisy around that topic: On one hand, it’s often stated that it’s not a big deal to simply stop paying the phone bill when leaving Taiwan as a foreigner - on the other hand, there are lots of complaints about telcos charging deposits when a foreigner is trying to get a phone contract.
In my opinion, every foreigner who leaves Taiwan and skips their phone bill is doing a big disservice to the foreign community here by proofing the telco’s point that foreigners are generally “high risk” customers…
In the end, we’re all paying for those who skip the bill…
Thanks for your comment. I just hope your wish will not happen to you.
Just an update. I already talked to the company and settle my balance in installment. Thank you all
More often than not, Taiwan is one of the most reasonable countries on earth. Simple as that. Pay your bills, get along with everyone.
