In response to Captain Stag talking about the lovely PS2 game, Tourist Trophy (at the safety course), I thought we could get a challenge going~ Picture evidence will be required to back up times, with the winner for the challenge picking the next challenge. Limitations can be set on bikes by CC, Brand, Style, Year or Zone (ie. Euro or JP)… RM or non-RM… but modifications cannot be restricted, as it’s impossible to check in reality~ Picking a track, of course, is required…

I don’t know how many people have this game, but it’s worth a shot~

So here’s the first challenge:

Track: Autumn Ring Mini
Bike: Any Japanese Bike, non-RM
Close: Dec. 18, 12am (That’s 2 weeks folks)

Ok…so you want us to take a snap shot of the screen with the final best time we can get and post it?..I’m cool with this challenge…

I suggest we split the best times in the following categories…

1- 2 stroke (all, as there not that many)

2- 4- stroke up to and including 600cc

3- 4-stroke 601cc up to the maximum.

I don’t think that you need to categorize it… otherwise what’s the purpose of having limitations? the “chooser” may decide on up to 600cc, or maybe 601-1000cc, etc. etc.

each bike has it’s own advantage really… and they all work differently on different tracks… half the point for me giving such an open choice is that a big challenge is choosing the right tool for the right job :smiley:

I’m not going to work on this time yet until you beat it~ 0’39.333~~ c’mon Stag…

That’s fast!..Ok, I started testing bikes on that track yesterday and my best time was 0’49.452 on the Yamaha TZ250…I’ll test the TZ125 tonight, I think it’ll do better on this track…we’ll see, I have a few other favorite bikes that I think will do well on this track.

Within a few laps, I managed a 0’40.011 on the TZ125…I’ll get back on it later and tweak the line…I’ll give your time a proper beating, don’t worry about that…aren’t you supposed to mention which bike you’re getting this time with?..a non-RM machine I hope!

ahhmm…you better get working on that time Mister X08…I’m doing clean runs in the mid '38s now…and I ain’t keeping my bike a secret…Yamaha TZ250 in yellow…

I’m still going to push that time a bit down once I get some things sorted on the bike! :sunglasses:

oh well… guess i’ll hafta let the cat outta the bag or so to speak… guess what my bike is…??? yup! same as yours… tz250 :smiley: i think yellow must be a lighter colour or something…

guess i’ll hafta boot up the ps2 and give it a go again sometime tomorrow or something… no time tonight~ don’t finish work till late and then it’s baby duty :frowning:

looks like i’ll hafta concede… i’m only getting a 39.182 out of it… and i’m dead tired now… time for bed :rainbow:
