Found a Lost White / Beige Shiba Inu

Hi everyone. I found a Male Shiba Inu at Zhudong Ecological Riverside Park two days ago.

I brought it in to get his microchipped scanned but they could not find one. I’m posting here with the hope of finding his owner.

If anyone has any information or can share this post that would be very helpful.

Description:
Breed: Shiba Inu
Color: White / Beige
Gender: Male

Other Details:

  • No microchip
  • Chubby
  • Found with no collar or harness

I posted some photos for reference. Thank you!

Thank you so much for keeping this little fellow safe. Hopefully his humans are also actively looking for him.

Aren’t there any animal rescue Facebook pages which help near there?

Beautiful dog. Wish I could have him if he went unclaimed. Unfortunately, my partner is allergic to animal dandruff. :smiling_face_with_tear:

Maybe he knows where home is and just wandered over to the park and could find his own way home.

His owners might be checking local shelters.

Probably not as he is not microchipped. He can try and put a poster up in the area. All dogs in Taiwan now have to be neutered as well. They also have to be kept on leash. Lots of new rules recently. Dogs also cannot be bred unless under special license. Although large dog farms have that license.

Yep. I checked a couple last night but no luck so far. It is actually quite effective. That and lizhang, police station and veterinary clinics nearby should be informed in case the doggo ‘s people come looking for him.

It is easy for pets to get lost in parks. They come off their leashes during walks, run away, then head back to a familiar place.

However, it is in a safe place now and his people, if they are looking for him, should be in contact soon.

He looks like he was abandoned. As if a scooter took him to a road he’s probably never been to and got him off the scooter and proceeded to ride away. Poor thing looks like it was depressed after realizing he’d been dumped. Lucky for him you found him.

Don’t those inbred dogs cost a fortune?

I went to the local pet store to have his microchip scanned. He didn’t have one.

I went to the police station and they said I should try posting in the local FB group.

I posted a few times. No news so far …

Could be doggie comes from another district. You have no idea how far pets can drift.

Our neighbor’s cat went missing. She was found in Banqiao. We’re in Xindian. How? Ask her!

Maybe post in the national missing dog/pets groups? Sorry for the inconveniences but casting a wider net might get faster results.

I do–cuz I abetted in causing one to cross provincial borders!

I remember once moving from interior BC to Alberta in my teens to attend high school quite a way away from where my parents lived.

Rented a UHaul to move all my stuff. A pussy cat entered into the UHaul without us knowing. It scurried out in Cowtown to our surprise when we were unpacking. I always wondered if it made the 1000KM journey back!

Someone lost their pussy because of my move.

is there an update? did you find the dog’s people?
