Job Title: Academic Editor - Finance and Sustainability Focus

About Us:

We are seeking an academic editor with expertise in finance and sustainability to assist in the finalization of a dissertation.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a thorough review of the dissertation to ensure clarity, coherence, grammatical accuracy, and alignment with academic standards.
  • Enhance the manuscript’s discussion on sustainability, fixed income, and leadership, ensuring that the analysis is insightful and grounded in current research.
  • Ensure that the dissertation adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements typical of British academic assessments.
  • Provide detailed feedback on the structure, argumentation, and evidence presented within the work.
  • Collaborate closely with the author to refine and polish the manuscript for final submission.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (PhD) in Finance, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, or a closely related field.
  • Proven academic editing experience, with a portfolio that includes edited works in finance and sustainability.
  • Deep understanding of sustainability practices in the financial sector and leadership theories.
  • Familiarity with financial markets and market sustainability initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Excellent command of English, with a preference for candidates who are familiar with British academic standards and language use.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and provide constructive feedback.

Scope of Work:

  • The editor will be required to review and edit a dissertation manuscript of approximately 15,000 words.
  • The work will include but is not limited to content editing, proofreading for grammar and syntax, and formatting to meet specific academic standards.

Time to Delivery:

  • The completed manuscript is expected to be done by the end of April, with initial reviews and feedback expected by 15 May.

Quotation:

  • Candidates are requested to provide a quotation for the entire scope of work described. Please include any additional fees for revisions or consultations beyond the initial editing process.
