Does anyone have store suggestion where fresh wasabi root and the grater can be purchased in Taipei, especially in Ximending area? Thank you!
I’ve seen wasabi root once in a while at the higher-end supermarkets: Jason’s, City Super, Breeze Center.
Is there a special kind of grater for wasabi? I’ve just used a ceramic grater like this; I think I bought it in Taiwan, maybe City Super (also try Crate & Barrel), but I can’t be sure:
