Fresh yeast - where to get

Does anyone know where in TPE can I find fresh yeast, for baking?

DIY baking supply stores like the Minquan Bridge one, Yixing, probably have it. See the stickied list. However, I strongly recommend you switch to the more stable and very reliable instant yeast (e.g. SAF brand, red label for sugar below 12% of flour weight; gold label for 10-30%), also at DIY stores. This is not the same as the crappy active dry yeast in supermarkets that you have to proof first. Fresh has a ridiculous shelf life (chilled) of 10 days, vs. 2 years for instant.

If a recipe calls for FY, just multiply the weight by .33 (some say .4) to convert to IY, or .4 (some say .5) for ADY.
