Frozen fruit for smoothies

Saw a post here from a while back, just checking in for any updates?

Apparently, Costco had a contamination issue and they stopped importing/selling it here. Tried Carrefour in Neihu with no luck.

If there is really no frozen fruit for sale here, what are you substituting? Friend recommended raisins, but I don’t like raisins. Maybe peanut butter?

Fresh fruit is an option I suppose, but you’re at the mercy of what fresh fruit is relatively cheaply available (and in season I guess). Tried dragon fruit and the taste was sort of weird. Even worse with star fruit. Have a papaya and melon queued up next…

I only noticed freeze dried (or dehydrated? I don’t know) blueberries.

Alternatively you would have to buy fresh fruit and freeze it yourself.

RT-mart and baking supply stores they always have frozen fruits.
PX has frozen berries only.

Costco has a bit of a reputation for selling fruit/berries that are over the chemical limits. It’s why I stopped shopping there. Too corrupt. But fruit here is easy and freezable. Berries a bit harder but still available.

I would trust the government supermarket as far as ag spray testing over foreign brands.
