Civit shit makes great coffee… at least that is the story . Has anyone here tried it?
I tried it. I likely have an uncultured palate, but it tasted just like…coffee. Not worth the high price in my opinion; luckily, I wasn’t paying that time.

I did! while visiting Bali for the first time when I went for a tour in a coffee factory …they gave our tour group all types of coffee to try and in the end gave us a very tiny sample of Civet coffee. The tour guide was speaking in Chinese so I didn’t quite understand what she meant or what Civet was called in Chinese. But it was the most amazing coffee I ever had (I was a beginner coffee drinker at that time). Later when they were bringing out the sealed packets to sell, I saw the price and was shocked! 
. It was then that I researched and realized I just drank some animal’s 
… But it was good though!

Yes. Very rich and smooth with nutty notes and no fecal aftertaste. Not sure it’s worth the high price though.

Tried in Vietnam a decade ago. Just tasted like drip coffee.
