That’s funny. In the article Cilliza seems to be saying that Democrats prefer Angry Joe, and that’s why this is a good thing.
So have to wonder if they’ve thought this through …

Well, to be fair he’s a pretty cool guy. I think I’ve been subbed to his channel for…almost 10 years now? Probably one of my first YT channel subscriptions ever.

I quit cable tv in 2014 (in the US) when I realized that watching yt videos was more fun than watching anything on cable tv, and it didn’t cost me US$150 per month, either.
Even so, never heard of this channel! Ten years and 3.22M subscribers?! I will have to check it out.
He’s been one of the biggest players in the videogames scene for many, many years. Back when every reviewer started selling his soul to game companies in order to get early copies, invitations, under the table shekels etc etc, he stayed true to his “players first” approach and always provided unbiased and entertaining content. His old “angry reviews” were really fun to watch.
He has calmed down quite a bit in recent years, but he’s a genuine guy that I’m glad to follow.
I’ve just checked my subs and he’s now definitely the oldest one for me. I can’t remember whether I subbed to his channel or Totalbiscuit first, but I stopped following TB many years ago soon after he moved to the US. His content became trash, then one day on Twitter he told someone he disagreed with:“Get cancer and die”, then TB proceeded to get cancer and died. (not making this up, lol, it really happened)
