YouTube starting showing me gay advertisements. I’m not gay but maybe the algorithms determined I might want the ads because of friend connections. I don’t know.
Maybe useful app for someone.
Facebook and YouTube have no idea who I am from the appearance of their ads…or perhaps they are simply making it look that way.
The former was fairly sure I was gay for over a year, beginning when I went to a party hosted by a gay couple I’m friends with and added perhaps a dozen or so gay men as friends in the next few days. Some of the ads were not bad - good suggestions for clothes.
