After getting married to my husband in June last year I wanted to share the whole procedure with people out there who find it difficult to find all the information.
I obtained all the documents necessary without having to travel back to Sweden. We registered the marriage in Taipei and I then switched from a student ARC to a Joining Spouse ARC. I also registered the marriage in Sweden without going back to Sweden.

to share all the information I obtained during the process to make it easier for others. Some of the instructions (e.g. how to get documents legalized) are very specific to Swedish nationals but the rest could be useful for any nationality.
