Hi guys!
I have been using Gillette Blue II Plus Slalom Razors for ever - these have a lubricating strip and a swivel head - however since coming to Taiwan, I have only managed to find the fixed head variety (without slalom/contour in the name)…do they exist here? Where could I find some? Many thanks!
Kidding, right? 7-11. They even have kinds with THREE blades, AND lubricating strips ON EITHER SIDE! AND a battery-operated vibrating thing in there. I do believe I even saw some in RT Mart with four blades.

Uhm, Sandman, that five blade one is for real, well, it’s actually six, five on the front and one on the back for under your nose… I’m not shitting with you either and they’ve got one like that with built in vibration as well, just for you

Can’t say I’ve ever heard of a Gillette Slalom though, don’t think they have them here, as they’re about 2 years behind on the normal product cycle here, mainly due to the fact that a lot of people here don’t have to shave as much as us hairy people
I guess you either have to “upgrade” and get one with disposable blades or live with the cheap stuff… There just isn’t the same kind of selection here, sorry.
I have that 5 blade razor thingy. I’m usually not that into gimmiks but I thought I would give it a try cause it was on sale.
Best damn shave I’ve ever had.
