Good brunch spots in Taipei?

Any good brunch spots, preferably western style in Taipei?

A bit of a trek, but if you haven’t been:

Villa Herbs is special for brunch. Beautiful small specialty dishes, homemade juices, nice atmosphere. Wines and champagne available.

Weston Hotel lobby has a more upscale weekend brunch with piano and unlimited sparkling wine. Also, buffet available in basement.

Sugar Pea is quite popular for everyone especially ladies. Reservation necessary. https://goo.gl/maps/m9Ugs8mV6L62

And most upscale hotels have nice buffet.

Sadly, all-you-can-drink champagne brunches have not caught on in Taipei.

The Diner has been my go to place for brunch over the years, but if you’re tired of it, this is a good alternative: https://www.facebook.com/jiegengesandwich/
Near the old AIT.

Woolloomooloo is pretty decent for brunch, though a bit on the pricey side. Near Xinye Anhe.

edit: You’ll wanna make reservations or show up early, if it’s still as popular as it always used to be.

Alas, in the whole Xindian, I haven’t found a plentiful and delicious brunch, meaning I really miss Grandma Nitti’s.

I like Once Again Cafe near Tapinglin, the food is tasty. But lately I have been going all the way to Gramercy Cafe in Gongguan, near Taita’s Sport Center, because I can take Bobby. Problem is their portions are rather large.

I recommend SPROUT, in the Tienmu area. You can read about this spot and see pictures here:

Another good spot for brunch is JB’s Diner, also located in Tienmu:

Parklife now has a late brunch and some of the best food in Taipei from Bogart’s.
