Good internet providers for home 5G or fiber connection in Taoyuan City？

What are the best options nowadays for fiber (non-fiber ok too) to the home / 5G service in Taoyuan City?

Landlord said it’d be ok to run my own internet line in, but I’m curious about 5G options these days too.

I like to game sometimes so low ping, low packet loss, and stable connection are important. I also upload lots of files to Onedrive, so the bigger the upload speed the better.

I currently connect w/ethernet cable, just don’t know how good wireless options are these days, and it might be nice for a cell plan upgrade if it can handle requirements at home.

Current connection is a shared China Telecom 100/40 or 100/100. It’s down right now so can’t check the upload speed. Speed-wise this is ok for me, if only it were more stable.

I think very few places have true 5G (ultra-wide band, mmWave 28 GHz, <10 ms ping latency)

In my experience, 5G is usually “4G with higher download speed”

Best to stick with cable/fiber for low latency. Perhaps increase your download speed, though.
