Can anyone recommend a good English speaking lawyer in Taipei who specializes in, or at least is very familiar with, copyright law and publishing contracts? Thanks in advance.
Oh, and I’ve called the Community Services Centre in Tienmu. They keep referring me to immigration lawyers.
Try John Eastwood at eastwood@qilinlaw.com (2311-2345 ext. 316). His firm specializes in intellectual property rights including copyright issues. They have lots of Taiwanese lawyers working for them. May be $$$ though.
