I want to buy a new door lock. I want to setup myself. So, its best if it is not too complex to setup. Please suggest some good options from your experience. Thanks.

What kind of door? That’s going to determine what lock you can put on it. If it’s an outside door they should include a lock and the lock is going to be specific to that door.
Door of my apartment. I would say, it is a normal apartment in a building.
TL’s point is that there are different kinds of doors and different kinds of locks, and if you don’t want to have to do too much work you’ll need a lock compatible with whatever’s there at the moment. A “normal door” isn’t that informative.
Are you just wanting a new lock only you have the key for, more security, or what? Pretty sure you can just go to any neighborhood hardware store or B&Q and pick something up.
Is it a sliding door? A metal door? What type of lock does it come with?
There are so many different types of door out there, made by different manufacturers, with different bolt pattern and all that, not to mention where the mortise is located.
Get this wrong and you just wasted your money because it does not fit without extensive modification to the door/frame that would definitely piss off your landlord.
If it’s because you lost the key tell the landlord and ask them to re-key the lock.
Or call a locksmith and have them deal with it.
