Has some really slick looking things. Playing with it now. People with privacy issues won’t want to play with it though I think. Seems like it took over my computer.
It has me Gmail, Gtalk, pictures, and all kinds of shit all hooked up. It’s even going to index all of my gmail onto the PC so I can search without being connected to the interent.
Google is sorta anti-mac. Some of their best things aren’t available for Mac :fume:
I hope it indexes my Word files better than the previous version. It can’t always find things that I know are there. I often ended up resorting to using the search feature in Word to find things. It did a better job in many cases. I found this quite frustrating so I gave Yahoo desktop another try. The first time round Yahoo desktop search was incredibly unstable so I uninstalled it. This time around it was just plain rubbish - it couildn’t find anything.
OK, I’m going to give Google desktop 2 a tryout. Fingers crossed.
