This is interesting. I was trying to help a hungry fella here and I posted a link to a search in google maps:
https//www.google*com/maps/search/pizza+taipei/@25.0499943,121.5226578,14z/data=!3m1!4b1
I’m adding those asterisks so that the URL isn’t parsed and modified by the forum.
The thing is… when forumosa embeds the map in a post, the URL is modified and the search keywords are lost.
I guess this is a problem in many situations… I wonder if any of you gods of the mosa can do anything about it?

You mean:
https//www.google.com/maps/search/pizza+taipei/@25.0499943,121.5226578,14z/data=!3m1!4b1

Yeah, probably. It doesn’t matter what the actual URL is, they just don’t work.
That doesn’t go anywhere even in a browser. Can you give me a valid address as an example? Bracket it with ` to make it display as code.
Nice. Still, why do they change when rendering as a map?
Just a second there! How’s the second one?
Go to “three line icon”, share or embed map, embed a map
<iframe src="https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m12!1m8!1m3!1d57831.48240002955!2d121.5005121!3d25.0521341!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!2m1!1spizza%20taipei!5e0!3m2!1sen!2stw!4v1668759407643!5m2!1sen!2stw" width="600" height="450" style="border:0;" allowfullscreen="" loading="lazy" referrerpolicy="no-referrer-when-downgrade"></iframe>
I replied (and before you asked)
