Google spies on you

Not saying it didn’t happen, and companies do ‘lie’. I also wrote that I believed it would be much more evident if that truly was the case.

Stuff like that can also be ‘random’ and a false positive. You said it happened a week later. Certainly I get ads for stuff i search for even in the business I am in and it happens within a day or so. But again, I’m not denying it did not happen just that you cannot know for sure that it was google listening to you. For the amount of stuff I say I would expect do see it daily.

Dog food. Fuckin’ dog food.

I’m pretty sure a passing mention I made of something in Messenger is leading to me getting targeted ads on webpages.

Turn off all devices is the only way to enjoy privacy!

Unless you live in a rooftop and the neighbor had installed a camera next to your bedroom window.

The camera doesn’t need to be so close. :flying_saucer: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Google suddenly thinks I’m either a short man or a tall woman.

I don’t know why, but this photo… seems a bit… weird :idunno:

Forumosa spies on you, just try out some weird stuff and it will come out on Google search.

Trump and his cronies say that Haiwei would spy on you if the PRC told them to.

They forgot (deliberately) to say that Google, Apple, Microsoft, Farcebook and others probably already are, or soon would unlock their “Back Door” if the US government told them to.

Letting them watch makes it more exciting…

I watched Marvel Endgame and all of a sudden my Quora feed is suddenly full of questions/answers about Marvel. I didn’t watch it in Netflix or anything, just from bittorrent.

It’s called retargeting marketing

This isn’t the first time Apple refused to give the key to federal agencies.

I’ve heard people say Apple couldn’t crack it even if they wanted to, basically the devices are well encrypted and all Apple could do is wipe the device to allow the user to at least use it.

Yes, remember seeing that some time ago. Just goes to show that while the USA and others put bans on Hauwei because they would comply if the PRC asked, and here they are, doing the same thing, though without success in this case.

I am betting that the Hauwei problem will be no more when the USA/PRC Trade War is resolved.

I wonder why Google lately sends me advertisements for websites with big breasted women :flushed:

I only accidentally clicked on one or maybe two…

It must have mistaken those accidents for research.

I’m just happy that Google finally figure it out I’m not gay nor lesbian, I’m a hetero man.
