I’m a huge fan of Van the Man, but not his religious songs. I do like Bob Marley’s religious songs, but then in some ways you can say that’s all he sang (except for that “Waiting in Vain” era).
I like how Lauryn Hill tricked everyone into liking a song that is deeply religious, without them realizing that they were listening to a gospel tune.
