Greeting cards

Are there any places to get cool/funny greeting cards, even blank on the inside ones, in Taipei?

I’m used to picking up a “Thinking of you” card at the supermarket back home, and I would like to do the same thing in Taiwan.

thanks

greeting cards are all over the place here…just check any bookstore or place like Working House. Most of the cards are NT$15-$50, which is very reasonable. And many of them are even quite attractive or unique. There are plenty of blank ones.

Thanks

There is a cute little book store across from the Sherwood hotel that I like to bob into for stationary, cards etc. Their English book selection seems to have dwindled which is a shame, so I go to Page 1 like everyone else for books now but worth a look for cards.

The larger Eslite book stores also sell cards.
I usually buy mine at the Basement 2 level of the Eslite on the corner of Dunhua South and Anhe Rd.
They sell a wide range, from traditional to funny and artistic cards, mostly designed in European countries.

surly, surly, you should take care of all of your greeting cards from me.

i started my own company which specializes in greeting cards. i am registered with the state, and i have a city business license. my company name is “cottoncandytreeproductions”.

i have original watercolors printed on greeting cards (10 images).

and i have hundreds of photo greeting cards in 4x6 or 5x7 format. half of my images on photo cards are from my trips to taiwan, and half are from here in western montana (national parks, local parks, abstracts, garden flowers, etc.)

i could send you a sample pack to you if you wish. then, if you like them, you can order as many as you want.

greeting cards?? you just hit the jackpot baby…

Where can I find greeting cards? I don’t want the 3D pop-out bullshit or stuff full of happy kitties. I would prefer very plain cards with nice covers and blank inside - cards for all occasions. No english, no Chinese, so I could use them for birthdays, deaths, graduations, etc.

Anyone know where to get greeting cards of this kind?

Eslite or Page One has the best selection

specifically I’m looking for a thank you card

edit: whoops! didn’t see this thread. I’ll check out the bookstores

Where can you find nice note cards? At my shop, that’s where!

I’m about two months away from the grand opening of my card and book shop in Taichung (near Sogo, Eslite/Nova, and Mollie’s). I have about 20 products in stock – everything from sophisticated to quirky. No cartoons, I promise. My mama raised me to send thank you cards whenever warranted, so I have four styles of thank you notes with more on the way. Come December I’ll also have more handcrafted and one-of-a-kind items, like letterpress cards and prints, both imported from the US/UK and made in Taiwan by local artists.

The website is still slowly coming along, but I have some pictures up of the items in stock. Prices, better pics, and info on each product will be up soon. >>http://wilsenpublishing.com/<<

I don’t mean for this to sound like an ad, but I’m just so excited to be setting up shop. :+)

ichbinjenny if you get going before i leave taiwan, i’ll stop by

Haha – I’ll show you everything on Tuesday. :+)
