Gyms in Muzha area

I just found [url=http://tw.forumosa.com/t/muzha-bo-jia-sports-park/24600/1 thread[/url], but I’m not sure what the gym is like.
Does anyone know of any other gyms in/near Muzha?
My tummy is getting pillsbury-like.

There is the gym just across the bridge into Xindian. You know where the B&Q is? It’s on top. Good facilities.

But living in Muzha why do you want an indoor gym? Just start hiking/walking. Go up to Zhinan Temple a few times a week, or do the ring road at the university. The road is light until late at night. You get up to 200m or so making it a decent hour long uphill/downhill walk. Great views over the city on a clear night, crickets and owls, and lots of greenery.

If you continue up to the temple on the stairs at the top of the road you have a great workout. Sometimes I hike up to that temple (Zhangshan Temple) then take the back route down to the road, then hike back up to Zhinan Temple, then down to the university and back home. Takes 2 hours and I must do 1500 steps or more. It’s up to 350m, down to 100, up to 360, then down to level ground.

Cool, thanks for the info.
There’s a YMCA between Muzha and Hsindien too, but I’ve never gone in, so I’m not sure what facilities they have.

None. It’s a school. My wife used to teach there.

BTW, staying up till 2am is not good for the mid-section.

What?
That’s outrageous.
Who ever heard of a YMCA that wasn’t a place for young Christian men to work out together?
