There is an air raid drill this Friday, all I can see about it is to stay indoors… that doesn’t seem like much of a drill for the civillian population. Also, not very realistic if the army/civil defence doesn’t have to deal with the population.
I asked the reception in my building, and they said just stay at home.

I usually set a reminder for a bit earlier the day of to have an early lunch and be back in the office before the fun commences.
Looks like it’s a bit later this time in Taipei so won’t interfere with my office’s lunch times.
I’ll have to remember to switch WiFi on though. I usually don’t because I have 吃到飽 data.

I previously read that during this drill, the internet on your phone would be cut off (to simulate what China would do during an attack). Now I’m reading the internet will be available but slowed down.
Anyone know the latest details?
In this day and age slowing the data speeds will feel like there is no internet. I would imagine some apps might not work.
