To all the fathers I know on F.com

To you I raise my cup. As one Forumosan told me from his heart “All I do, I do for my kid.” Those words made an impression on my heart. As my father was around, his heart and soul was somewhere else. In time, I am certain he will become the person I know he can be.

My hope for all the fathers here, is that you love your daughters. Let them know of thier value in the world. You are the male she will look for in her life for love and eventually be the man she may choose to marry.

As for the boys you raise, raise them with a sense of self. To find their truth and never let it be defined by others. There are two men on this forum, who are in the truth sense, to me, men. They have their own truth, and define themselves by it. Pass this on to your boys. Let them know that what it takes to be a man is to be true to thy ownself.

With love
Nama

Back atcha Nama…

The youngcowboy gave me my 1st Fathers Day card.

Totally unexpected.

Yes, Happy Father’s Day to you all, it’s a pleasure to be able to see the dads’ perspectives and also to see how seriously you take fatherhood.

Today is also our first child’s birthday, and our second child came home from the hospital with me yesterday, so we are having a very nice Father’s Day here.

Was that the day after you gave him a PS2? Congrats man you’ve earned it !!! :bravo: :bravo:

Maybe not fitting here, but how many years until next time that the day of the “unspeakable brothers” and father`s day falls on the same day.

My dinner company did not know (MIL and us).
