i guess Mr socialclub was right…

Why not just rent a van and come to the Taipei HH?

50 a side game of shinney.
Winners get to roast the losers over an open flame…

that’s actually a very good idea, when’s the next HH?

then there’s the issue of the peeps who say “i’ll be there”
and in the end you end up driving to taipei in a 7 seater all alone like a cunt

I’ll be sure to turn up if it’s in Taichung, and on a weekend.

Saturday, October 7th, may not be the best day to have it. There’s a holiday on the 6th and again on the 10th. A lot of people will be taking a long weekend (Friday to Tuesday inclusive).

Maybe you should pick another weekend.

ur the one with the know how

pick a date

and despite the infamous thread gone wrong,i think going to bollywood would be a good idea,i can get a good deal at my club for the afterparty

How about Saturday the 14th of October?

Sounds like a good plan - I’d like to check out Bollywood - see if it deserves the fame

I’d definitely be interested, although I’m notoriously unreliable

now updated to the 14th,keep the suggestions comming…

What is your club?

If you guys want to grab a bite to eat or a cheap beer or two before your outing, you can get all prepped at my place. It’s small, but can fit 20 people comfortably.

I would love to go but I am chained to my restaurant, especially on weekends. I take Monday off though. So if there ever is a gathering on Monday night, count me in.

I’d like to come, but as always, it will probably not work out, at least not in October. Generally speaking, I like the idea of having it on Mondays, but I don’t think that will increase the number of people that show up.

Our place is called Broadway (burgers and deli) and we will be opening our doors this Saturday for our “unofficial” opening for family and friends. We are scheduled to be opened October 1st.

We have Hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, salad, soda’s, beer, coffee, 3 kinds of fries and Jo-Jo’s. It is more like a New York burger and deli joint then anything else.

I am in hopes in turning it into a meeting place or a prep bar (a place to go before people go out clubbing for affordable beer and a bite to eat).

Our patties are 90% beef (best you can get in Taiwan). Our burgers range from NT150 to NT180 and that comes with our daily salad and a truck load of your choice cut of fries. A bottle of Heineken is only NT100.

Oh, almost forgot! Tuesdays we have a hot dog and beer special. One dog and one Heineken beer for NT120!

I will keep my personal opinion about the quality of our food and leave that up to the connoisseurs here to give reviews. I will post our menu here in the coming weeks.

I have Compass magazine coming over in 2 weeks to give it a go and planned on advertising after that. Will post a link to their review.

I’m in, this will be my first one.
