I’m having a hard time grabbing copy for a quote this for example that should include my own self as the original quote.
Only me having the problem?
Or don’t quote anything. Makes it more interesting for the reader.
I have the same problem.
However, it only happens if I quote by selecting the text first.
A workaround is to use the quote button (speech balloon 
) when writing your message instead.

I haven’t noticed. Sometimes using > tags can make things easier, not sure if you did

Not if you use the quote button 
See, how it shows above? No need to change the quotee’s identity.
The only thing I did was to remove the part of the quote that I didn’t want to highlight.
It’s not really a fix, but an easier workaround at least.
