Has anyone ever actually seen the 200 and 2000 NTD bills in real life?

I have one (2000) in my bag.

2000 NT$ bills are easier to pay for a house or luxury car, it only takes one suitcase instead of two.

Countries avoid printing large bank notes because they can be used for money laundering as they are easy to conceal…

In the past there was a 1000 SGD bill out there… I think they stopped printing those.

Additional Information

Large denomination notes allow individuals to carry large values of money anonymously, and can facilitate ML and other illicit activities. Most major jurisdictions have stopped issuing large denomination notes in light of ML/TF concerns.

I had a WTF moment the first time I was handed a £100 note (Scotish).

Used to handle 2,000s regularly, there was someone who always gave an amount of money to an organisation I was handling finance for in 2,000s.

200’s I have not seen very often, certainly not as often as the 2,000.

I found and kept a few over time.
NT$2K from the bank and NT$200’s from shops.
